The Louis Roederer Medallion bottle is a true eye-catcher. This 2002 cuvée jeroboam bottle has a jewel-like appearance, comprised of 24-carat gold open latticework, revealing its many facets through the many reflections created by this eternal powdered gold openwork covering.
Designed by Philippe di Meo, each Medallion bottle is 100% handcrafted, which requires the craftsmanship of 2 master goldsmiths, 12 métiers, 7 metres of brass strip plated in 24 carat gold, 158 silver soldering points and 4 days of work. In total only 400 bottles were made, of which 200 are available for retail. They are sold for an average price of €15,000 per bottle.
